Christmas 2019

Merry Christmas everyone!

It’s been quite the year for the Lelles. In May our apartment management decided to no longer be family friendly and threatened eviction because our kids were making “too much noise”. After prayer and a bit of looking, we found a house not two blocks away. After one walk through we knew that was where we were supposed to move. The whole process from making an offer to moving in took barely a month. We moved in to the new house in the middle of June and have been loving it since we moved in.

With the new house came a new school year. After sending Mason to a charter school last year, we decided to do some home schooling. The basement is large enough that we cordoned off one section to make as an office for me. The rest is a play room and study room for the kiddos.

Mason graduated kindergarten in May and absolutely loved it.

During the summer we started a garden. Having fresh grown veggies is a huge boon for the family. In Utah we have to fight squash bugs, luckily we had some help in the form of a praying mantis. Since we have a nice back yard, we were able to have several fun water fights with the hose. This place has really been great for us.

We got Mason signed up for football for fall. He learned so much and greatly improved on his paying attention. He definitely wants to play again next year. It was so fun throwing the ball with him in the field behind the house.

Seth has been working really hard on potty training. He will be four on the 4th of January. He’s in pull-ups every day now. Ash thinks he’s just like his daddy, I don’t see any resemblance.

Miss Evie turned two in October. She learns way faster than any two year old should. We often mistake her as being older than she is. With all the climbing she does, I am surprised we haven’t had any ER trips this year. She loves to sit on the counter and play with the kitchen faucet.

Santa was really great this Christmas. Grandmas and Grandpas helped make it memorable for all the kids. I think they’ve played with the LEGO more than any other toy so far.

We look forward to another amazing year. Love you all!
